Bike Friendly Soo: The sole purpose of the Fund shall be to raise money for the mission of the Bike Friendly Soo group
Chippewa County Honors our Veterans: This fund supports the unmet needs of veterans and their families who reside in Chippewa County.
Gracie’s Heart: Established in memory of Gracie Pearl Hough by her family. Gracie died at the age of two months of a heart disease known as Wolf Parkinson White Syndrome. Funds are utilized to give back to the community and to those people who have lost a child.
Involvement Opportunity Fund: Grants provide students with hands-on supplemental materials for classroom use. This fund can also supply funding for field trips that relate to studies in the classroom to provide an educational experience which students might not have the opportunity for otherwise. Funds may be requested throughout the year as needs arise and funds allow. Funds available vary and are based on gifts received from a generous, anonymous donor.
Pink In The Rink: This fundraiser has become a staple in the Sault Sainte Marie community in conjunction with Laker Hockey and LSSU. Pink in the Rink provides the opportunity to educate our community on women’s health issues with a general focus on breast cancer and donates it’s proceeds to the local women’s organizations that are most in need.
Sault Pride: Initially formed twenty years ago to renovate the athletic field. The Coach Herman T. Crane Scholarship and the Coach Dubow Athletic Scholarship are part of this fund.
Shop With A Hero: Established to collect donations to be used by local law enforcement agency’s Shop with a Hero program. This program allows children to Christmas shop for family members with a local law enforcement individual.
Soo Theatre Project – Raise the Roof Fund: The sole purpose of the Fund shall be to raise money for structural improvements to the Historic Soo Theatre building
Zeke Dutcher Memorial Foundation: Established by Zeke’s family to raise awareness and provide funding for childhood cancer research, and to provide funding to non-profit organizations that assist in the aid, comfort, and wellness of children with cancer and their families.
